New Images to Celebrate Summer!
The summer holidays are upon us already - how did that happen?! We are open 7 days a week in the gallery and we have a summer gift fair coming up at Creake Abbey Barns on the Saturday of Bank Holiday Weekend in August - so we are busy busy busy! We had to take advantage of a lovely evening to take a stroll down to East Quay and sit for a while watching the world go by. Just sitting for half an hour is the best thing to take away any worries of the day. We also spotted 10 different types of birds mooching around with us without even trying. Some of our bird identification is quite good, others are slightly ropey, but we definitely saw Herring Gull, Black Headed Gull, Oystercatcher, Starling, Mallard, Wood Pigeon, Sw

In honour of World Oceans Day, I thought I would take a stroll along the quay and down beach road this morning. The weather hasn't quite cheered up yet after Tuesday and Wednesday, so it was a little bit grey and blustery still, but it didn't stop me enjoying the scenery too much!
